Continuing down the Oregon Coast on day 3, I visited 3 scienic destinations. The first was Cape Perpetua. This was a small cape with some gorgeous views.

Further down the coast, At Heceta Head, I visited a lighthouse and the largest sea cave in America. Sealions congregate in this cave by the hundreds.

Before leaving Oregon, I stopped at Port Orford Heads State Park. I spent just over an hour walking through the various trails searching for views.

There wasn’t much of a welcome into California. If there was a sign to welcome me, I missed it. The signs I did see informed me that, in one moment, I was driving across the tallest bridge in Oregon, and the next my tax dollars were helping rebuild California. I stayed the night near the border before visiting some tall trees in the redwood forrest the following day.
